Maggie Gallagher gets philosophical, saying this about "how important a witness our married life can be":
"How can anyone believe we have access to an infinitely loving God if we, as Christians, do not appear any more capable than the rest of our broken society of restraining and uplifting our sexual selves -- of loving our families and keeping them together, until death to us part?"Is she referring to Newt Gingrich? Other prominent public figures? Something more personal? Or is Maggie simply speaking in the abstract?

I can honestly say that for me, a legally married man, there is probably no one person on the face of this planet who has proven to be a worse witness to marriage, its meaning, its complexity, and its strength than has Maggie Gallagher (Srivastav). That probably doesn't mean diddly jingle bells to Maggie, judging by past conversations and her years of actions that threaten my home. But does it matter to American history? Does it matter to the infinitely loving God through which she believes both my and her worldly blessings flow?
Let's witness.
